Teen Strength Training team!

Goal: Make a giant fitness community and accountability team for teens–especially in my home area of Skagit County. I was born and raised here and I want to do my part to provide the fitness guidance and services that would have helped me flourish as a youth.

HOW:

-Enroll in program and get contacted from your coach.

-set up app based program by 4/29 (for initial month–other start dates will be available).

-We will meet at least once per month at BEEfit (additional classes and attendance options available).

-You get access to BEEfit when enrolled and you are encouraged to partner up with 1-3 others in the program for training…you can even meet with the PRO trainer with your accountability partners!

Goal: Teach the principles of Strength and Hypertrophy Training, Nutrition, How to Stay Fit for Life, how to approach training, how to progress it, Mobility, and more!

LEARN THE BEST WAYS TO:

Add muscle, increase your leaping ability, improve your performance, and learn how to keep progressing your physique steadily for life! (This means you will learn about properly fueling your body–NUTRITION).

How do we join in on this?

Join up anytime, but our official 12 week launch date is May 1st with April 29th for our IN PERSON orientation, abdominal training session, and nutrition meeting!

INITIAL ORIENTATION: 4/29/23, 10am @ BEEfit 311 State Street Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284

Attend orientation Saturday class, get your plan, execute the plan (train, eat proper, rest, repeat).

-12 week plan (2, 3, 4, and 6 days per week plans)–you choose!

-3 progressive blocks of training, each 4 weeks  

Learning and applying the principles of hypertrophy and strength training will teach us how to properly invest our time in our bodies. The goal of this program is to teach individuals all the principles of training and programming: Nutrition, mobility, hypertrophy, strength training, cardio, agility, and periodization. 

We will learn this process as we progress through a 12 week approach to training. Within these 12 weeks there will be three blocks of training at 4 weeks each. The interactive training app is overseen by coach Ryan and students can get their questions answered there and review the weekly workout reflection tab in their app to stay updated. Plus they can attend small group personal training classes at BEEfit for in person coaching at a reduced rate! One saturday per month we meet at BEEfit to review the next 4 week block/form and do abs and agility training (included with the monthly rate). At the end of 12 weeks, you’ll know how to BEEfit.

A-I have been training at Beefit for over a year now. 

Q-What does BEEfit provide you/How does BEEfit help you with your fitness? 

A- BEEfit provides me with a homebase for physical fitness.  I love the structured routines that get more physically challenging as the 12 week cycle progresses.

Q-What is your favorite thing about BEEfit?  

A-I think my favorite part of working out at BEEfit is the sense of community I’ve built with my fellow workout buddies.  We encourage each other and support one another. 

Q-How would you rate BEEfit on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best possible?  

A-I’ve gone to a lot of gyms over the years, and I would wholeheartedly give BEEfit a 10 out of 10 because I appreciate the high expectations Ryan expects from all his clients.  He makes a point of correcting me when he sees me doing an exercise incorrectly.  I appreciate Ryan’s commitment to excellence because frankly I don’t want to hurt myself or do an exercise incorrectly.  When you set high expectations for your students, most try to meet those expectations and that results in achieving fitness goals.

Q-What would you change about BEEfit if you could change anything?  

A-I would like more video demonstrations. I work out early in the morning before the class officially starts, so I don’t always get Ryan’s personal instruction. (As of this edit, all the videos have been updated and Pam’s constructive critique is partly to thank for that).

Q-What is something that you wish you knew before you started training?  

A-Even though I knew nutrition was a vital component of training, I would have appreciated a frank talk about how vital nutrition is to making gains whether it be weight loss or strength training. (As of this edit, Pam has a meal guide and an understanding of nutrition that continues to progress and ALL GROUP TRAINING STUDENTS GET A PERSONALIZED MEAL GUIDE! Nutrition is key to your success).

Q-What has been a physical or mental achievement that BEEfit has helped you achieve? 

A-I’m definitely stronger.  This may be a figment of my imagination, but I feel more mentally sharper.   I have a physically demanding job that keeps me on my toes.  Maintaining my health is crucial for me to do my job well.  As a teacher I feel confident that I can keep up with students in regards to classroom activities. I’m more agile and flexible which helps me in my daily duties.  

Q-What is differentiates BEEfit from other gyms and training systems? 

A-One thing that separates BEEfit from other gyms is Ryan’s expert guidance and commitment to form and excellence.  He wants you to have a good workout while maintaining form. 

Q-What would you tell someone who is considering BEEfit?  

A-I would tell anyone who’s interested that you’ll see results, but it really depends on you and your commitment.  

Q-Would you and do you recommend BEEfit to others?  

A-Yes, I would absolutely 100% recommend BEEfit to anyone who is serious about working out and wants to see results. And I have recommended this gym to my family.

Being able to do group training with Ryan’s instruction has been a game-changer. I wouldn’t have even known where to begin without doing some form of personal training to begin.

I was extremely self-conscious to go to a gym because my body was weak and I had no clue how to even workout. I was afraid of embarrassing myself in front of people, but I haven’t felt like that once since joining BEEfit.

Q-How would you rate BEEfit on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best possible?

A-I would rate BEEfit as a 10 for me personally. It’s one of the best investments I’ve ever made in my life. I can’t imagine any other gym having such a great, small-size & tight-knit group of people in the group training classes. I can’t even picture trying to do personal training at a corporate gym. The feel of working out at BEEfit feels much more exclusive and personal while also feeling like I’m getting my money’s worth and much more.

Q-What is your least favorite thing about BEEfit?

A-There’s not much bad to say about BEEfit. It seriously feels like the perfect gym for me. Ryan runs a tight ship, keeps things clean, cracks jokes, and makes sure we’re all having fun and pushing ourselves with the right form for our individual exercises.

Q-What would you change about BEEfit if you could change anything?

A-I think if you don’t know him (Ryan), it might be difficult to pick up on his sense of humor, but you quickly learn that it’s all lighthearted and it’s nothing personal. I wouldn’t change his HR department though, it’s the best and quickly became a favorite for me. (HR is in house and we are a sole proprietor)

Q-What is something that you wish you knew before you started training?

A-I wish I knew much earlier how much better my body would feel if I actually just took the first step and committed myself to working out. The personal training aspect was the perfect fit for me, and the affordability of the group sessions was a no-brainer. It took me 32 years to have the courage to enter a gym. Now, I can’t get over the feeling of being more limber, noticeably stronger and have more endurance. Especially because I felt like I started at ground zero — No muscle, no endurance, no agility. I felt ashamed and embarrassed. What I’ve gained since joining BEEfit is something I wouldn’t trader for anything and I can’t wait to see where I’m at in another three months of commitment.

Q-What has been a physical or mental achievement that BEEfit has helped you achieve? 

A-I’m more confident and I have way more self-respect for myself since committing myself to a weekly, group-training  workout routine at BEEfit. Mentally, I’m so much more stable since actually moving my body and working out. I was pretty sedentary before this and felt terrible.

Q-What is differentiates BEEfit from other gyms and training systems?

A-No idea, since I haven’t really been to other gyms, but BEEfit feels like a premium gym, without the premium price tag. I can’t imagine any other gym doing for me what BEEfit does. Having access to Ryan’s knowledge and expertise is priceless. It’s been the biggest blessing in my life this year.

Q-What would you tell someone who is considering BEEfit?

A-Just try it. There’s nothing to lose. Ryan offers a free group training session to new members. How can you say no to that? If I can do it, so can you. I literally felt like you couldn’t be more insecure that I was prior to joining BEEfit.
